SysOnChip, started with qualified CDMA ASIC, FPGA technologies and chip design in 1998. SysOnChip, Inc. was designated as a Venture Company in July 1999 by SMBA (Small and Medium Business Administration) of the Korean Government, and was honored for CDMA Pulse shaping Filter Chip to be designated as "Excellent New Technology" in September 1999 by MIC(Ministry of Information and Communication) of the Korean Government.

In 2001, SysOnChip expanded its business to include GPS receivers and Bluetooth devices. At that time, for the new consumer product, we needed a new brand name, but with strong faith that we were manufacturing a most qualified and innovative product on the base of our proudly accumulated technology, we adopted our own company name to our consumer product brand name, 'SysOn'.

Starting with SysOn Serial GPS, we added the CF GPS, Bluetooth GPS, CF memory GPS, and the smallest Smart Blue GPS for PDA and smart phones. The SysOn CF GPS is also getting very good feedback as the most convenient GPS receiver. All SysOnChip GPS receivers are compatible with almost all standard GPS-enabled navigation software. Smart Blue is our new Bluetooth GPS receiver adopting the latest powerful SiRF III chipset. And, SysOn Memory GPS is the world's first CF GPS combining flash memory in one CF card.
