Getting Started in PDA <Must-read guide>
You can use SysOn CF memory GPS after installing the driver file in the CD. The CD provide auto start function for your convenience.

(1) Connect PDA to computer through Active Sync.
(2) Insert the CD included in the unit package into your computer.
(3) When you see the below message, click the "Driver Installation".

(5)When you see the "Pocket PD installation", Click "Next".

(6)Real carefully the [License Agreement] and check in the box of "I accept the terms in the license agreement". Then click "Finish"

(7)If you choose 'Yes (Y)', it will start the installation.

(8)The driver installation has finished. Click "OK".

(9)Then plug the CF memory into the CF slot. If the driver is installed correctly, there will be sound like 'Di-ring, Di-ring'. And when you go to Start/Program/File Explorer, you will be able to see the 'Mounted volume' of CF memory GPS.
( In Pocket PC/Pocket PC 2002 OS, the name of memory is 'Flash driver')

(10)The file in the Mounted Volume is the driver file for CF memory GPS.
In the case that the driver file is deleted from your PDA main memory, you can simply install the this device driver file without connection to a computer. Please copy this file to the main memory of your PDA.

(1)Please install the map software into the memory of CF memory GPS.
(2) To get the satellite signal, you should set the right Com port and Baud rate. Please go the GPS setting in your map software and set the Com port and Baud rate.
Each PDA has different Port number, so refer to the following table.

2. How to use SysOn Viewer program<Useful information>
# The SysOn Viewer (SocViewer) program is not essential for using the GPS. With this program you can see the basic position data and check whether the GPS works properly or not.

2.1. Installing the Viewer

(1) Download and unzip the program from our website or form the CD included in the unit package.
(2) There are two folder in the Viewer program depending on th PDA O/S. Choose the right pogram. ( PocketPC 2002, Window Mobile 2003 )
(3) Double click the nstall.exe and choose Yes(Y) like right picture.

(4)There will be message like this, then chick "OK".

(5)When the viewer is installed, you can see the below icon PDA screen.

Click to start the SocGPSViewer and plug in the CF memory GPS.
You can hear 'Di-ring,di-ring' sound.

(2) There will be "Device detected!" message and the available Com port number. Click "OK". |

| (3)Tab the GPS and choose the "Connect Setting..".
|
(4)Set the NMEA with the port number found in (2). |

|

Set the Baud rate as 4800.
|
(6) When the connection is completed, you will see the UTC is going. |

(7)Please place the GPS in the good signal area, then the information like latitude and longitude will be calculated.

|

* Please test the device in outdoor and where there is no tall building nearby. The antenna direction of the CF memory should be upright position to get the better signal. And some metallic coating in car windshield can block the GPS signal coming through the window.
